Did you know that if Convo didn’t exist, the MELMIRA show might not exist?! True story! I first got the inspiration of creating my own show thanks to Convo’s leadership encouraging me to delve further into my passion for media. Naturally, I was scared, but knowing that life is full of fun challenges to be taken, I jumped at it!

Convo means a lot to me on a personal level. Other than the champ interpreters, a lot of my values align with Convo as a company. Being authentically YOU, Deaf-led, Deaf-centric and embracing community values are a few of the many things we have in common.

YES, I did work with Convo for a good number of years and while I may not work with them as an employee anymore, I will always be grateful for Convo’s support and belief in MELMIRA.
